Furniture for Fun

Crofcheck has been a master designer for over 20 years, but he can still remember what it's like to be a kid.
Even in the seriousness of his craft he's found a way to still built model trains and create beautiful wooden toys.

Smallville

Can you see...
The raft on the river?
The light posts lining the two lane black top road?

The town you see above is a marvelous example of the care and time Crofcheck
spends on each project. This train set started out as a project for Crofcheck and his
eight-year-old daughter to enjoy on the weekends. It soon became an intricate train
layout with several small buildings, roads, cars and people. Crofcheck continued to add
detail after detail. Soon the rivers ran with water, the cross-town tram carried passengers
from one side of town to another and the lights around town twinkled upon command.

Can you see...
Two sunbathers on the roof?
The Caboose Café?
The Skylight Restaurant with party deck and Japanese lanterns?
The tram carrying townsfolk from one end of tow to the other?
The gravel pits?

The most amazing things about Smallville is that...

Smallville is actually a coffee table. Again showing Crofcheck's fascination
with unique and cleverly crafted furniture.

Victorian Magic

Have you ever looked at a beautiful house and wanted to just wrap it up and take it home?
This house is a part of the famous San Francisco Painted Ladies Victoria Houses.
Crofcheck was so impressed by the detail and the beauty of the home that he decided to build one of his own.

The actual house.

Crofcheck's house.

Of course the house Crofcheck built was only 6 feet tall.
